Finally, it was a good Monday!
Monday, at Brussels... I was very disappointed because the dealer was not there with the "promised "lace curtains! GRRRR...
So, in a very bad mood, I made some bargain hunting. I was very angry and I bought a few things through spite. I spent 5 euros on what I taught to be only a dirty old tablecloth just good enough to fill the garbage-bin. Without really looking at it, I paid, rolled it and threw it away in the bottom of my shopping trolley.
I forgot it until yesterday . What a surprise! That "little old dirty thing" was absolutely not as bad as I was expecting! Far from there to say the least! Except the fact that it is a bit frayed on the edges (I suppose "commensurate" with age!) it is absolutely free of any gaps and stains!
I could not believe my eyes...Did I mentionned that when I spotted it there was only one tiny corner of it coming out in the daylight from under a huge heap of the ugliest "vintage"shoes?
Wow, I love it! And it is now part of my collection (as the cheapest one!!!)
Gosh, I do love these tapestry squares! I've got them in olive green, in red, in purple, in brown, in light green and in pink...and now in black!
A great Monday, finally...

Found in Bruges, 22 September 2013
Yes, I know, it took me a while to "unveil" my purchases from Bruges. Not that they were so many but I finally took time only today to empty the one and only bag that I had brought back home...a bag of antique linen, ofcourse! Some lace curtains and a bedspread. Pictures...
